Dall’Eneide all’Eneas: Didone e Lavinia

View through CrossRef
Abstract The stories of Dido and Lavinia are at the heart of the Roman d’Eneas , in which the theme of love is redesigned and now includes the erotic component, which characterizes the characters’ passion and reveals their most intimate part. Love becomes the connective tissue of storytelling with a continuos crescendo up to the successful end of the story, which Lavinia reaches after many doubts and thoughts, but she is now more confident thanks to a new maturity and autonomy.
