. The development of information and communication technology has significantly transformed the broadcasting industry, particularly television broadcasting systems. The transition from analog to digital technology has improved the quality of broadcasting services, expanded information access, and increased the efficiency of frequency spectrum utilization. This study aims to analyze the concept of broadcasting technology, review the historical development of broadcasting, explain television broadcasting systems, examine the evolution of television technology from analog to digital, and explore its influence on social life. The research employed a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were collected from books, scientific journals, official government documents, and relevant literature related to broadcasting and television technology. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the studied phenomena. The findings indicate that broadcasting technology has evolved from conventional analog systems to digital systems that offer better audio-visual quality, more efficient transmission processes, and various interactive features. The migration to digital television has enhanced broadcasting performance while supporting broader communication technology development. Furthermore, television technology has both positive and negative social impacts. It contributes to information dissemination, education, and entertainment, but may also influence social behavior, consumer lifestyles, and interpersonal interactions. Therefore, media literacy and effective broadcasting regulations are essential to ensure that television technology provides maximum benefits to society in the digital era.
