Wyzwania oraz sposoby wsparcia chińskich studentów przygotowujących prace licencjackie

The article is concerned with the individualisation of teaching, using the example of tutorials accompanying the bachelor’s seminar in the undergraduate double degree programme: Polish studies: language, culture, society. It presents case studies which serve to illustrate the challenges and difficulties faced by Chinese students who worked on their bachelor’s theses. The article also describes the approach adopted by the teachers and the assistance they provided for the tutees, which allowed them to find satisfactory solutions together, respecting the cultural and educational background of the students as well as teaching standards and requirements for candidates for a bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Polish Studies of the Jagiellonian University. The authors also comment on the preparation for the thesis defence and methods of remedying problems caused by pandemic restrictions.
