Large amphora peel with lid on four sided foot plate. Decor of two trestles (as a handle) additionally bouquets of flowers in natural colours on the glaze. High cover with turned profile with knob in the shape of a printed ball. The factory was founded in 1747 by Duke Karl I of Braunschweig, but was not fully operational until 1753 when Johannes Bennckgraff was employed. Price: 80 Mk. See rescontra Walther v.H 24 Dec 1890.
The same model of urn was used in the dessert tableware (290 parts) commissioned by Duke Carl Wilhelm Ferdinand von Braunschweig in 1805 for the landcount Amelie von Baden (1754-1832). The servis included inter alia nine vases, vase requirements several in this model, but with different staffing.(The Managing Museum in Fürstenberg)
