PENGARUH SUFISME DI INDONESIA

Abstract.This paper discusses the influence of Sufism in the dynamics of Islamization in Indonesia (Nusantara), especially in the 17th and 18th centuries, which was the golden age of Sufism in the archipelago. This paper shows that Sufism has contributed in giving birth to the tradition of intellectualism in the archipelago. besides iu, Sufism also succeeded in fostering a strong sense of solidarity among Muslims, so as to be able to inject the birth of a spirit of resistance to colonialism.Keywords:Sufism, Nusantara, Islam, Colonialism AbstrakTulisan ini mendiskusikan tentang pengaruh sufisme dalam dinamika islamisasi di Indonesia (Nusantara), khususnya pada abad ke-17 dan 18, yang merupakan masa keemasan ajaran sufisme di Nusantara.Tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa ajaran sufisme telah berkontribusi dalam melahirkantradisi intelektualismedi Nusantara.di samping iu, ajaran sufisme juga berhasil memupukrasasolidaritas yang kuat di kalangan umat Islam, sehinggamampumenginjeksi lahirnya semangat perlawanan terhadap penjajahan.Kata Kunci: Sufisme, Nusantara, Islam, Penjajahan
