In this study, we will discuss the things omitted by the Prophet ﷺ and which he didn’t do. Such things are called: The Stalling Path (Al-Sunnah Al-Tarkiah) provided that all the necessary conditions are present. This research aims to address the categories of what may be “Stalling” and which may not. This research also explain the ruling on following the Prophet’s stalling path and the implications of doing or not doing so. The researcher uses a descriptive approach to reach the goal of this research. In this study, the researcher found that for considering what the Prophet ﷺ didn’t do to be acceptable to do, it is necessary to provide six conditions. So, in this paper the researches points out what is recommended to follow and what may be left. If all necessary conditions are fulfilled, the status to follow these Sunan are same as other sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The commands and prohibitions of Prophet ﷺ can’t be understood without the clear concept of “Al-Sunnah Al-Tarkiah” and “Al-sunnh Al Failia”. Therefore the knowledge of both these sunan is necessary and no one cannot be neglected. Therefore it is necessary to present the introduction of “Al-Sunnah Al-Tarkiah”.
