Patent rights are special rights granted by the state to the inventor of the results of his invention in the field of technology, in which for the specified period of time carry out the invention itself or give approval to others to carry out it. This patent is granted for new inventions that contain inventive steps and can be applied in industry.This patent is exclusive because only inventors produce inventions that can be granted rights, but these inventors can carry out their own inventions or give approval to other parties to implement them, for example through a license.In Law No. 14 of 2001 Article 11, it is stated that those who are considered as inventors are individuals or some people who are declared as inventors for the first time in the application. So this patent right is not only owned by one person, but this right of peten can be given to several people against a discovery carried out jointly and on the patent registration application the names of the inventors are included. If the invention is found in cooperation, then the patent rights are held collectively.
