G‘O‘ZA ZARARKUNANADALARIGA YANGI DEFOLIANTLARNING TA’SIRI

This article highlights the importance of an essential agrotechnical measure—defoliation—in cotton cultivation and preparation for harvest. During the research conducted in the conditions of the Fergana region, the effects of various defoliant formulations on cotton pests, including spider mites and aphids, were studied. The results showed that the defoliant “SuyuqXMD” demonstrated higher efficacy compared to “Him-ekstra,” eliminating spider mites and aphids by approximately 85–96%, respectively. Defoliation at the final growth stage of cotton positively influences the plant's physiological processes and plays a crucial role in preserving fiber quality and yield by reducing pest populations.
