Polychrome glazed vase

This small, white glazed vase is decorated with a geometric pattern in a coloured glaze. It was discovered by the French archaeological expedition in Susa, and donated to the RMAH as a permanent loan in 1936, in the same assemblage as the Susa I pottery. It is characteristic for the neo-Elamite pottery production of the 8th-7th century.
