The textbook "Practical Course of the Second Foreign Language Translation. English Language. Part One" is intended for cadets and students of translation faculties who are studying English as a second foreign language.
The aim of the textbook is to develop and enhance the students' learning and cognitive competence based on the foreign language, to the extent necessary for further study with the aim of carrying out professional tasks in accordance with their professional duties.
The target mandatory competence is to ensure the ability to carry out interlingual and intercultural interaction based on knowledge of the political, economic, social, and cultural situation in Russia and the country of the target language, as well as knowledge of their role in regional and global political processes.
The textbook is part of the educational complex for the discipline "Practical Course of the Second Foreign Language Translation (English Language)", aimed at a 3-year period of study .
