Transformasi Digital Masyarakat: Pemberdayaan Melalui Program Computer Operator Assistant

Masyarakat di Desa Sesaot, Kecamatan Narmada, Kabupaten Lombok Barat terkenal dengan desa wisatanya. Akan tetapi pemuda desa dan perangkat desa di desa tersebut belum banyak yang memanfaatkan teknologi secara maksimal terutama untuk kegiatan bisnis. Oleh karena itu, tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemandirian masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan teknologi komputer sehingga memperkuat aspek ekonomi dan pengetahuan digital mereka. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan memberdayakan komunitas atau kelompok masyarakat di Desa Sesaot melalui pelatihan keterampilan sebagai Computer Operator Assistant. Dalam program ini peserta diajarkan tentang pengoperasian komputer, aplikasi perkantoran dan keterampilan administrasi dasar. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pemuda desa dan perangkat desa yang berjumlah 16 orang. Peserta diberikan uji kompetensi untuk mengetahui perbedaaan kemampuan peserta terhadap teknologi komputer sebelum dan setelah pelatihan diberikan. Sebelum pelatihan, dari 16 peserta terdapat 5 orang yang tidak lulus uji kompetensi. Adapun setelah pelatihan diperoleh seluruh peserta lulus uji komptensi. Hasil uji kompetensi sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan kemudian dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon dan diperoleh hasil signifikan sebesar 0.000 yang menujukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pelatihan ketrampilan komputer terhadap hasil ujian kompetensi peserta. Melalui program Computer Operator Assistant, masyarakat terutama pemuda desa dan perangkat desa Sesaot mengalami transformasi digital yang positif, meningkatkan kemandirian dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, dan menghadapi tantangan masa depan yang semakin digital dengan lebih percaya diri. Program pengabdian ini berperan penting dalam mengurangi kesenjangan digital dan memberdayakan masyarakat dalam era teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang terus berkembang. Digital Transformation of Society: Empowerment Through the Computer Operator Assistant Program The community in Sesaot Village, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency is famous for its tourist village. However, not many village youth and village officials in the village make maximum use of technology, especially for business activities. Therefore, the aim of this community service is to increase community independence in the use of computer technology so as to strengthen their economic aspects and digital knowledge. This community service activity is carried out by empowering communities or community groups in Sesaot Village through skills training as a Computer Operator Assistant. In this program participants are taught computer operation, office applications and basic administrative skills. The target of this service activity is village youth and village officials, totaling 16 people. Participants are given a competency test to determine differences in participants' abilities towards computer technology before and after the training is given. Before the training, of the 16 participants there were 5 people who did not pass the competency test. After the training, all participants passed the competency test. The results of the competency test before and after training were then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test and a significant result of 0.000 was obtained, indicating that there was an influence of computer skills training on the participants' competency test results. Through the Computer Operator Assistant program, the community, especially village youth and Sesaot village officials, experienced a positive digital transformation, increased independence in various aspects of life, and faced the challenges of an increasingly digital future with more confidence. This service program plays an important role in reducing the digital divide and empowering society in the era of information and communication technology that continues to develop.
