The Impact of Metro Bus Service on Passengers Satisfaction in Multan, Pakistan

The current study aims to analyze the impact of metro bus services on passenger satisfaction in Pakistan where population is increasing day by day and the poverty ratio also increasing. So government of Pakistan has decided to reduce the effect of overburden on the economy and launched the better transportation for the development like as Metro Bus system. This study uses the quantitative techniques to analyze the research topic to extend confidence in succeeding findings. The proposed study is quantitative in nature. However, the analysis showed results that suggest correlation and dependence. Convenience sampling have been used to identify minimum distinction inside the population, such sample could be used as a pilot for analysis. Sample size of 300 is used in study. Statistical software (SPSS) is used for determining the correlations between the independent variable and dependent variables as well as the correlation between dependent variables. The conclusion of this study showed significant results of factors like as Metro specific, service quality and safety having the special emphasis on passenger’s satisfaction of Multan Metro bus context. These factors also validate the prior studies and literature reviewed. The current study explained that there is positive relationship between the metro bus and passenger’s satisfaction. Passengers are more confident and comfortable to use metro bus service for travelling rather than the private transportation. It also shows that there is a positive relationship between the service quality and passengers satisfaction. Research shows that there is positive relationship between Metro bus and service quality. It is also indicate that there is positive relationship between metro bus, service quality and passenger satisfaction. Overall results indicate that people like to travel in metro bus service due to different impressive factors like  service quality, comfort and safety etc
