Tradisi mapati dan mitoni study fenomenologi

This study discusses mapati and mitoni in the village of Linggoasri In Linggoasri itself there are 5 hamlets. This research focuses on 3 hamlets including Sadang hamlet, Linggo hamlet and Bojonglaran hamlet. The Javanese tradition is unique in the way it is carried out and has a philosophical element to the purpose of the tradition and cannot be separated from Javanese thinking. Especially in Java itself, the Central Java region (linggo asri kajen pekalongan) there is a tradition that is carried out by each family member for family members who are pregnant, the tradition of welcoming pregnancy by holding a celebration event commonly called Mapati and Mitoni. This is the original tradition of the Javanese people.This study aims to analyze the traditions and mitoni mapati in the Linggoasri community who have a philosophy in welcoming the birth of a baby in the form of religious, cultural and social institutions of the Javanese community in Linggoasri This research is a field research. Using qualitative research, qualitative researchers interact directly with informants as much as possible, get to know their lives closely, observe and follow the course of the informants' lives according to reality (Muhammad Idrus, 2009). The research approach used a phenomenological approach, in which the researcher looked at the traditions that occurred in Linggo Asri Village and explained what the informants said without being followed by the researchers' perceptions. The results of this study show that the mapati tradition in Linggoasri is a tradition/ceremony held during the fourth month of pregnancy. And mitoni is a tradition/ceremony that is carried out at the age of 7 months of pregnancy.
