Pencegahan Kejahatan Terhadap Cybercrime

This article aims to find out and understand about cybercrime prevention and analyze the constraints of the implementation of cybercrime prevention in the Jambi Regional Police Jurisdiction. The results of this study show that: 1. Prevention of cybercrime by jambi police there are various forms of prevention consisting of cyber patrols, online education, through instagram accounts, twitter @ccicjambi and also actions in the form of education carried out offline through leaflets and tron videos, direct reprimands through social media, take down, legal action. 2. As for cybercrime prevention has not run optimally than the prevention and enforcement carried out by the Jambi Regional Police, this is due to the lack of personnel than the Jambi Subdit Cyber Police Ditreskrimsus itself. Author's advice to law enforcement officials 1. Polda Jambi is expected to recruit many experts in the field of Information Technology or IT and increase cyber patrols, cyber education, direct reprimands, take downs, and legal actions consistently and must be better in conducting offline and online education. 2. Jambi Police must pay attention to repressive measures to cybercrime perpetrators in order to provide a deterrent effect and ensure legal certainty to victims. Abstrak Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami mengenai Pencegahan cybercrime dan menganalisis mengenai kendala pelaksanaan Pencegahan cybercrime di Wilayah Hukum Polda Jambi. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa: 1. Pencegahan cybercrime oleh Polda Jambi terdapat berbagai bentuk  pencegahan terdiri dari patroli siber, edukasi online, melalui akun instagram, twitter @ccicjambi dan juga tindakan berupa edukasi yang dilakukan secara offline melalui selebaran maupun video tron, teguran langsung melalui sosial media, take down, tindakan hukum. 2. Adapun pencegahan cybercrime belum berjalan dengan maksimal dari pada pencegahan serta penegakan hukum yang dilakukan oleh Polda Jambi hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya personil daripada Ditreskrimsus Polda Jambi Subdit siber sendiri. saran penulis kepada aparat penegak hukum 1. Polda Jambi diharapkan  dapat merekrut banyak tenaga ahli dibidang Information Technology atau IT serta meningkatkan lagi  patroli siber, edukasi siber, teguran langsung, take down, dan tindakan hukum secara konsisten serta harus lebih baik lagi dalam melakukan edukasi offline maupun online. 2. Polda Jambi harus memperhatikan tindakan represif kepada pelaku cybercrime guna untuk memberikan efek jera serta menjamin kepastian hukum pada korban.
