Abstract: In this writing, we will examine Tertullian's view of the concept of the trinity of God. In this case using a qualitative approach to better understand how the Trinity in the view of the Bible and the philosopher Tertullian. As well as the purpose of this writing to explain how we understand how the concept of the trinity of God itself, it can be concluded that trinity is a doctrine in Christian teaching which often becomes controversial both in Christian and outside Christian circles because it is often thought that trinity is something which doesn't make any sense.
