PHILIPP HAAGER: Postcards from LB
View through Artsy
With great excitement, PERG gallery announces a solo exhibition by artist Philipp Haager. Philipp Haager (b. 1974) studied painting at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main from 1999 - 2004. He lives and works in Stuttgart. In a stunning, finely nuanced interplay of luminescence and opacity, light-flooded pictorial spaces open up – despite the often exclusive use of black and grey tones – that display a fascinating iridescence, perhaps conveying what Haager would call a memory of nature.
