Sitter information: Mr. Wilson Patten. Captain Eustace John Wilson Patten, eldest son of the 1st Baron Winnarleigh. Mrs. Wilson Patten afterwards Marchioness of Headfort (d. 16 July 1926). Emily Constantia eldest daughter of Rev. Lord John Thynne. Married the 3rd Marquess of Headfort as his second wife on 29 November 1875, mother of Geoffrey 4th Marquess of Headfort (1878-1943). Lieutenant Colonel and Mrs. Ferguson of Pitfour [George Arthur FERGUSON, born 1835, Captain and Lieutenant-Colonel Grenadier Guards. He married Nina Maria HOOD. Died 1924 at residence of son-in-law Colonel BARRINGTON, Blandford, Dorset. [The Scotsman, 17 Dec 1924] Viscountess Holmesdale, born Lady Julia Mann (2 July 1844-1 September 1883) name changed to Cornwallis 22 October 1844. Only surviving child of the 5th and last Earl Cornwallis. Married 27 August 1862 to William Archer Amherst, Viscount Holmesdale (1836-1910). The Viscountess is buried at Linton. Captain Ewart The photograph of Captain Ewart in the center of the page is bordered with pink and silver metallic paint, the banner above the photograph is inscribed "Croppy." The banner above the photograph of the Viscountess Holmesdale is inscribed "Julia." The banner above the photograph of Lt. Col. and Mrs. Ferguson is inscribed "George & Nina."
