THE LIMITS OF CATHOLIC PEDAGOGY

SUMMARY:
1. Purpose (Aim): The purpose of the article is to show the boundaries of Catholic pedagogy, i.e. to outline the possibilities of research in the area of Catholic pedagogy in the strict sense and in the broad sense.
2. Type of research methodology used (Methods): In the article, the author used the method of logical analysis and the method of research on the essence of things.
3. Main research results: The author presented the boundaries of Catholic pedagogy both in the narrow sense (Catholic pedagogy in the strict sense) and in the broad sense (Catholic pedagogy in the broad sense), where all research areas of the entire pedagogy are included in the sphere of research interests of pedagogues, while the research subjects are seen here through the prism of Catholic pedagogy.
4. Limitations on research results / analyses / conclusions: The conclusions relating to the concept of Catholic pedagogy have limitations relating to the methodological assumptions adopted at the beginning (logical reasoning, showing the essence of this pedagogy).
5. Practical implications: The article has no direct practical implications, because it is a conceptual text. The text is used to raise awareness of the differences between Catholic pedagogy on the one hand and other pedagogies that have different value systems in their assumptions.
6. Social implications: The text has social significance insofar as it raises awareness among the community of pedagogy researchers – where are the boundaries of Catholic pedagogy, beyond which Catholic pedagogy cannot go in order to maintain its identity.
