Aims:: The main aim of the article is to comprehend and highlight the challenges and opportunities presented by the digital era for children. Additionally, the article aims to provide practical guidance based on the values of Catholic pedagogy, assisting in the creation of a secure online environment for the youngest individuals. Methods: The prepared text is primarily based on the analysis of the teachings of the Catholic Church regarding children's safety in the digital world. It also incorporates relevant literature emphasizing the contemporary need to prioritize the safety of children engaging with modern technologies. Results: The article amalgamates various aspects such as benefits and risks, Catholic values, challenges for parents and teachers, forming a comprehensive analysis of the subject matter. Ethical aspects of utilizing new media, particularly in the context of Catholic values, are addressed. The author delves into issues related to safety, education, online ethics, and sustainable technology use. The article includes practical tips for parents and teachers concerning children's safety in the digital realm. Conclusion: Conclusions drawn from the application of Catholic Pedagogy to shaping secure online habits are clear, contemporary, and inspiring. Respect for the dignity of others and the cultivation of empathy become the foundation for creating a positive online environment.
