The article is dedicated to a comprehensive analysis of the personal documents of Father Petro Franz Krypiakevych (1857–1914), a prominent representative of the Greek Catholic clergy in Lviv during the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Father Petro Franz Krypiakevych left a significant mark on the religious and cultural life of Galicia, and his figure still requires further in-depth study. For the first time, a comprehensive review of the archival collection, held in the Manuscript Department of Vasyl Stefanyk National Library of Ukraine, is presented in the scholarly discourse. The article offers a detailed analysis of the first description of this collection, which includes rare and valuable documents that were previously little known. The author of the publication uncovers new biographical information about Father Petro Franz Krypiakevych based on newly introduced historical sources, including personal documents, educational certificates, financial records, catalogues of his library, and condolence letters. These materials not only supplement our understanding of the priest’s personal life but also reveal his role in the development of the religious and cultural environment of Lviv during that period. The introduction of these archival materials into scholarly circulation significantly enriches our understanding of the spiritual life of the Ukrainian community in Galicia during the imperial era. Furthermore, the research highlights the lesser-known aspects of Petro Franz Krypiakevych’s life, offering new perspectives on the history of Ukrainian clergy and education during this period. Keywords: Petro Franz Krypiakevych, archive, document, biography, priest, Greek Catholic Church.
