Sonhos, de Juan-Eduardo Cirlot

Juan-Eduardo Cirlot is a Catalan poet associated with the Avant-Garde movements of the first half of the 20th century. He made a notable contribution to Spanish Surrealism during the 1930s and 1940s, primarily through his involvement with the group Dau al Set, alongside Joan Brossa, Joan Ponç, Antoni Tàpies, Modest Cuixart, and Joan-Josep Tharrats. Balancing between hermeticism and transparency, and employing highly symbolic elements, Cirlot's poetry draws on a range of influences. It revisits mystical traditions while also pointing towards contemporary experimental ruptures.
