POETIKA „ĐAČKE PESME“ DRAGANA LUKIĆA

In this paper, we analyze the poetics of Dragan Lukić’s collection Đačke pesme (Schoolchildren’s Poems, 1990) with the aim of mapping the uni ver sal po etic elements of this creator “faithful to childhood” (Životić 2018: 169). This will contribute to a better understanding of Lukić’s concept of childhood and his notion of school days as an important stage of childhood and the “degree zero” poetic image in Lukić’s poetry. The poetic image of school days may not become more complex in terms of subjects and motifs, but it deepens in meaning precisely through Lukić’s creation of a school children’s poem through a cognitive matrix at the level of form and reception. After analyzing the micropoetics of individual poems, with the emphasis on zeničenje (pupillary, circular poetics) as a specific poetic element of Lukić’s collection, we conclude that the school chil dren’s poem is a metaphor for the very process of creating a poem, which cannot do witho ut the “playing at life”.
