Elogio epicúreo de la lentitud, la austeridad y la amistad en Jardín Gulbenkian de Juan Antonio González Iglesias

Para Epicuro y su escuela, es objetivo prioritario alcanzar una vida feliz sustentada en la ausencia de necesidades en un entorno de serenidad. Cimiento fundamental de aquella es, por otra parte, el cultivo de la amistad. Pues bien, en el individualista mundo actual este modus vivendi es reivindicado por algunas voces poéticas relevantes en España. Es el caso de Juan Antonio González Iglesias (1964), un hedonista tranquilo en cuyo poemario Jardín Gulbenkian (2019) se apropia, siguiendo la mejor tradición epicúrea, de la austeridad y la lentitud como actitudes vitales y de la imprescindible necesidad de la amistad como pilar último de la felicidad.
