Siraman Sedudo Sebagai Peningkatan Pendapatan Masyarakat Nganjuk Jawa Timur

Siraman Sedudo Tradition is an activity that is carried out every syuro or Muharram month. The purpose of writing this research is as a form to explain a series of ritual activities of the sacred siraman sedudo in an effort to introduce local and foreign tourists with the aim of increasing the number of tourists so as to increase the level of regional income. In addition, this activity as a preservation of regional culture so that the longer the tradition of the sedudo watering is not abandoned and is increasingly preserved. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection uses interviews and documentation. Data analysis is done by collecting data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The sacred value of the Siraman Sedudo process is characterized by the Bedhayana Amek Tirta dance, ten female dancers play a choreography as a form of gratitude to God Almighty. Thousands of visitors from local and foreign tourists such as Thailand, Madagascar, Timor Leste, Taiwan, Pakistan, Africa and Spain thronged Sedudo Falls to see the traditional Siraman Sedudo ceremony. So that the ritual Siraman Sedudo can be a solution in advancing the economy of the Nganjuk Regency through increasing regional income.
