SISTEM PEWARISAN KESENIAN RAMPAK BEDUG DI SANGGAR HARUM SARI PANDEGLANG BANTEN

This research was motivated by the absence of a study on the inheritance system process of the RamPak Bedug Dance Movement. This research aims to determine the inheritance system process and the factors that influence the inheritance system process of the Rampak drum dance movements at Sanggar Harum Sari Pandeglang Banten. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation at Sanggar Harum Sari. The research results showed that the inheritance process system for the Rampak Bedug Dance is vertical transmission, which means an inheritance system that involves blood relations which are passed down from generation to generation from the older generation to the younger generation. There are several efforts being made by the heirs currently, including practices including training for studio members and extracurricular activities at school, as well as through workshops, performances and social media. Inheritance factors include internal factors such as the artist's interest, talent and motivation, as well as external factors such as community and government support. This inheritance is important to maintain cultural identity and develop art, namely maintaining cultural values from the past, to be preserved so that they do not become extinct.
