Cream dress and knickers set, maker unknown, England, ca. 1957. Printed cotton mix fabric - cream coloured with small repeated design of fanned sprig shapes in pink, green and yellow. The dress has short slightly puffed sleeves, Peter Pan collar and a sash that ties at the back. The front bodice of the dress is smocked in two different shades of green thread. From the bottom the smocking at the waist, the dress flared out. The dress fastens at the back with 4 pearlised buttons, opening to the waist. Dress and knickers set for a little girl. Matching knickers made of cream fabric with small printed repeated design of fanned sprig shapes in pink, green and yellow. The waist and leg holes are each elasticated. The knickers have been constructed with a seam running along the sides and in between the legs.

The dress has short slightly puffed sleeves, Peter Pan collar and a sash that ties at the back.
The front bodice of the dress is smocked in two different shades of green thread.
