This article presents a scientific and analytical study of T. Mirzayev’s scholarly and creative legacy, his theoretical views on the variants of the epic *“Alpomish,”* the concept of variation, his conclusions on epic structure, his approach to the issue of genesis, and the significance of the epic studies tradition formed as a scientific school.
