GAYA BAHASA DALAM TEKS PRESIDEN REPUBLIK INDONESIA, JOKO WIDODO

ABSTRACT: LANGUAGE STYLE IN THE TEXT OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA JOKO WIDODO. The purpose of this study is to describe the type of language style based on sentence structure and the type of language style based on whether or not the meaning is direct by using Gorys Keraf's style theory. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study were in the form of speech texts that were submitted from the online media Tribunnews.com which contained the text of the speech of President Elected President Joko Widodo. The data source in this research is online news Tribunnews.com Sunday edition, July 14, 2019. The results of this study are; First, President Joko Widodo is more inclined to use climax style. Other language style findings, anticlimax, parallelism, antithesis, and repetition. Second, Joko Widodo also uses the style of asindeton and polindeton.
