Building Vulnerability Mapping Due to the Earthquake in Lombok

View through CrossRef
On July 29, 2018, an earthquake shook Lombok with a strength of 6.4 Scale Richter and the epicenter of the earthquake was in 47 km northeast of Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara at a depth of 24 km. The earthquake was a shallow earthquake, causing damage especially in non-engineered buildings. Aftershocks occur up to hundreds of times, so the building that initially suffered minor damage becomes moderate damage and severe damage. in East Lombok Regency there were 2089 heavily damaged units, 5067 moderately damaged units and 10958 lightly damaged units, while in Central Lombok Regency there were 4664 heavily damaged units, 7906 moderately damaged units and 24078 slightly damaged units. all damage to non-engineered buildings in East Lombok and Central Lombok Districts is 54,762 units. The purpose of this study was to obtain the vulnerability of non-engineer buildings due to the earthquake in Lombok. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research. The data used is secondary data. The analysis shows that the damage rate in East Lombok District on the MMI 6 scale was 10.7% severely damaged, 18% moderately damaged and 71.3% slightly damaged. On the MMI 7 scale, 14.2% were severely damaged, 20.3% were moderately damaged and 65.5% were slightly damaged. The level of damage in Central Lombok District is on the MMI 6 scale with 8% severely damaged, 16.8% moderately damaged and 75.2% mild. on the MMI 7 scale there were 11.3% severely damaged, 18.1% moderately damaged and 70.5% slightly damaged. Based on these results East Lombok District has a higher vulnerability to earthquakes compared to Central Lombok.

Title: Building Vulnerability Mapping Due to the Earthquake in Lombok
Description:
On July 29, 2018, an earthquake shook Lombok with a strength of 6.
4 Scale Richter and the epicenter of the earthquake was in 47 km northeast of Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara at a depth of 24 km.
The analysis shows that the damage rate in East Lombok District on the MMI 6 scale was 10.
7% severely damaged, 18% moderately damaged and 71.
3% slightly damaged.
On the MMI 7 scale, 14.
2% were severely damaged, 20.
3% were moderately damaged and 65.
5% were slightly damaged.
The level of damage in Central Lombok District is on the MMI 6 scale with 8% severely damaged, 16.
8% moderately damaged and 75.
2% mild.
on the MMI 7 scale there were 11.
3% severely damaged, 18.
1% moderately damaged and 70.
5% slightly damaged.
Based on these results East Lombok District has a higher vulnerability to earthquakes compared to Central Lombok.
