Ondo Praise Chants and Digital Archiving

This study seeks to address the preservation and promotion of Ondo praise chants, an integral part of Nigerian cultural heritage, through digital archiving. Employing a mixed-methods approach, this study aims to document, transcribe, and translate Ondo praise chants, and develop a digital archiving system to preserve and promote this intangible cultural heritage. The research will explore the cultural significance and preservation efforts of Ondo praise chants, and investigate the potential of digital archiving in preserving and promoting Ondo cultural heritage. The expected outcomes of this study include a comprehensive documentation of Ondo praise chants, a digital archiving system, and increased awareness and promotion of Ondo cultural heritage. This research will contribute to the preservation and promotion of Ondo praise chants, and demonstrate the potential of digital archiving in preserving intangible cultural heritage in Nigeria.
