Georges Bataille i radikalna umjetnost performansa: filozofija transgresije u performansu Ritam 0 (1974.) Marine Abramović

Unatoč savremenom shvatanju koncepta transgresije koji u postmoderno doba nerijetko ulazi u sfere simulakruma i mas-medijske realnosti, u ovom tekstu stavljen je fokus na filozofiju francuskog mislioca Georgesa Bataillea (1897.–1962.), kao relevantan teoretski okvir za razumijevanje transgresivnih, nasilnih i ritualističkih praksi radikalne umjetnosti performansa od 70-ih godina pa naovamo. Kroz teoretsko dekodiranje performansa Ritam 0 (Rhythm 0) Marine Abramović, nastoji se propitati na koji način Batailleova filozofija—sa posebnim naglaskom na pojmovima transgresije, komunikacije, žrtve, suverenosti, „unutrašnjeg iskustva“, metafizičke rane, erotizma i svetog—korespondira sa ekstremnim praksama i ritualističkim elementima nasilne umjetnosti performansa, a u širem kontekstu formiranja nove „estetike transgresije“ upisane u tijelo umjetnika kao društveni tekst, mjesto otpora, žrtveni mediji kanal za regeneriranje kolektivnog iskustva svetog.
