In July 2015, a salvage excavation was conducted in a lot on Exodus Street, Lod (Permit No. A-7454; map ref. 190647-85/651342-72), prior to the construction of a daycare center. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and financed by the Lod municipality, was directed by E. Jakoel, with the assistance of S. Krispin and D.
