Book of Abstract Conference Proceedings of The 4th International Conference on Islamic Epistemology (4th ICIE) is a scientific output from a conference collaboration program between Universitas Al-Azhar Indonesia and Research Synergy Foundation. Co-hosted by Universitas Islam As-Syafi’iyah, International Institute of Islamic Thought, and Universitas Islam Indonesia. The conference was held virtually on 7-8 August 2023. In addition to providing a global platform for exchanging ideas and research, this conference also aims to foster discussions on Islamic epistemology and its significance in shaping the trajectory of Islamic civilization. The theme of "Maqashid Syariah as Fundamental Principles in Islamic Thought and its Relevance in Islamic Civilization" holds immense importance in contemporary times, as it delves into the core principles and objectives of Islamic jurisprudence. The Proceeding covers theoretical practices and their implications in Islamic Studies, Islamic Counselling, Islamic Law, Islamization of Science, Education, Humanities, Economics, Linguistics and Languages. The expected contribution of this Proceeding is to give an Interdisciplinary insight into the latest research and study in line with Islamic Epistemology.
