Neg nr UM 16.256. The Decor painted in 1902 by the owner Gertrud Nilsson, 1878-1970, born in Uppsala, daughter of renowned chemist Lars Fredrik Nilsson. Grandfather Per Forsman, a spice trader in Uppsala. The parish priest Carl Johan Rydell in Skuttunge. Gertrud Nilsson was a teacher in Stockholm, learned to tie root baskets of the Sami in the mountain areas of Jämtland and Härjedalen where she spent the summers and devoted herself from 1928 more or less to this. See her book My seven-hundredth basket. Gertrud Nilsson residing Corn Road 9, Bromma. Testamented his entire estate to IM. See UM 13.399 and Annex UM 13.399-13.441. Donated in June 1971 to the Upplandsmuseet from the organization Individual Human Assistance (IM), Lund.
