Study of Temporality and Temporal Markers in Language (in the context of linguistics, cognitive linguistics, and linguocultural approaches)

This article analyzes temporality and temporal markers in the context of linguistics, cognitive linguistics, and linguocultural approaches. Temporality, as a multi-level category, indicates the sequence and placement of events in time. Temporal markers function at grammatical, lexical, syntactic, and discourse levels. Examples from Azerbaijani and English illustrate their cognitive and cultural aspects. The study presents a systematic approach that combines functional and cultural features of temporality.
