Roman bronze objects from Ribchester, Lancashire

The drawing shows several bronze objects found with a helmet at Ribchester in 1796. Some of them are described but not illustrated in the published account (see Bibliography). They include no. 2 'patera [with] borders, inside and outside...ornamented with parallel and perpendicular lines...; no. 5 'remains of a vase'; no. 15 'colander'; and no. 25 'large tusk of a boar'. The colander is illustrated in the published engraving. This drawing also includes another patera, and the bases of two vessels, probably more paterae.
