Roman tombstone from Ribchester, Lancashire

The engraving shows a slab carved in relief. It is probably part of the tombstone of a Roman cavalryman from Ribchester. He is shown armed, on horseback, spearing a fallen enemy. It was found in the bed of the River Ribble in 1876.
