ANALIZA MOGUĆNOSTI PRIMENE PROVODNIKA VEĆE PRENOSNE MOĆI NA POSTOJEĆIM NADZEMNIM VODOVIMA 110 kV

In recent years, due to the construction of a large number of new industrial facilities, the demand for electricity is growing significantly, especially in urban areas that have regulated infrastructure and established industrial zones. In such environments, with construction and space constraints, one of the solutions for supplying new consumers with electricity is the use of existing overhead lines, where it is necessary to ensure an increase in their transmission capacity. The paper analyzes the possibility of using conductors whose construction enables higher transmission power of the existing 110 kV overhead lines. Several types of so-called special conductors are included, comparing their characteristics in terms of permanently allowed temperature, current load, power losses, deflection, safety coefficients, special approach to installation, etc. on concrete examples for adaptation of existing 110 kV overhead lines. In addition to the advantages that special conductors have in relation to the "typical" conductor, the paper also gives an overview of possible limitations of their application on existing overhead lines.
