Kebijakan Pemerintah Provinsi Banten Terhadap Pengembangan Wisata Religi Di Kabupaten Serang

Tourism policy in Banten Province refers to Regional Regulation Number 9 of 2005 concerning the Banten Province Tourism Development Master Plan, the potential tourism product development sector, one of which is the development of religious tourism, this type of tourism is starting to develop because it is environmentally friendly and extraordinary life pressures make people look for activities that can bring inner peace. The results of the review of Perda No. 9 of 2005, Perda, do not adequately cover all activities as a legal framework in the development of religious tourism in Banten Province. In fact, the bylaw is essentially just a precursor to the Perda related to tourism activities in Banten Province, where religious tourism is only included in the tourism subsector that thrives under the bylaw. Aspects of spatial and regional development related to road infrastructure for tourist attractions can be considered inadequate. The marketing strategy (promotion) of religious tourism through promotional media such as electronic print media and the official website of the Banten Provincial Culture and Tourism Office as well as through cultural events both domestically and abroad, until now PAD from the Religious Tourism sector does not exist because there is no legal umbrella that directly overshadows Religious Tourism. In the future, there needs to be an improvement in Regional Regulation Number 9 of 2005 concerning the Banten Provincial Tourism Development Master Plan because it has been in force for too long and must adjust to the needs of the current era. There needs to be a special regulation that overshadows all needs in the development of Religious Tourism in Banten Province. Infrastructure improvement must be a priority for the development of Tourism Objects, especially Religious Tourism.
