MANFAAT DAN HAMBATAN DALAM PENERAPAN BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING (BIM)

Digitalization in the world of construction is shaping changes in all sectors and that includes the world of construction. Efficiency in work for work purposes has led several countries and researchers from all over the world and universities to develop digital technology in the world of construction. The development of construction digitalization in construction work is of course very important because it can support the innovation movement and development of digitalization itself. Currently, there is a construction digitalization system that is well-known and often discussed in various journals around the world, namely Building Information Modeling (BIM). The use of a new system such as BIM certainly has benefits so it is widely used in the construction sector and in implementing this technology there are definitely obstacles in its application. Many journals discuss the application of BIM in construction project work but rarely discuss the obstacles as well as the benefits of using BIM. Therefore, based on these problems, the development of BIM construction technology needs to be studied and reviewed in depth in its use. This is useful for innovation and development of technology itself, both in application and adaptation to face the current era of massive technological development. The method of comparing, searching, reading and reviewing several related journals makes the conclusions from this journal sufficient to provide support and suggestions for future BIM development. Abstrak Digitalisasi dalam dunia konstruksi ikut membentuk terjadinya perubahan dari segala sektor dan itu pun termasuk dalam dunia konstruksi. Efisiensi dalam sebuah pekerjaan guna keperluan pekerjaan membuat beberapa negara dan peneliti dari seluruh dunia dan Universitas mengembangkan teknologi digital dalam dunia konstruksi. Pengembangan digitalisasi konstruksi dalam pekerjaan konstruksi tentu saja sangat penting karena dapat mendukung gerakan inovasi dan pengembangan digitalisasi itu sendiri. Pada saat ini terdapat sebuah sistem digitalisasi konstruksi yang sedang terkenal dan sering dibahas di berbagai jurnal di dunia yaitu Building Information Modelling (BIM). Penggunaansistem yang baru seperti BIM tentu saja mempunyai manfaat sehingga banyak digunakan di sektor konstruksi dandalam penerapan teknologi ini pasti mempunyai hambatan dalam pengaplikasiannya. Banyak jurnal membahas tentang pengaplikasian BIM pada pekerjaan proyek konstruksi tetapi jarang membahas hambatan sekaligus dengan manfaat penggunaan BIM. Oleh karena itu, dari permasalahan tersebut maka perkembangan teknologi konstruksi BIM perlu dikaji dan direviu secara mendalam lagi dalam penggunaannya. Hal itu berguna untuk keperluan inovasi dan pengembangannya teknologi itu sendiri baik dalam penerapan ataupun adaptasi untuk menghadapi eraperkembangan teknologi yang sangat masif saat ini. Metode dengan membandingkan, mencari, membaca dan mereviu beberapa jurnal terkait membuat kesimpulan dari jurnal ini cukup untuk memberikan dukungan dan saran terhadappengembangan BIM kedepannya

Oleh karena itu, dari permasalahan tersebut maka perkembangan teknologi konstruksi BIM perlu dikaji dan direviu secara mendalam lagi dalam penggunaannya.
