Ekranisasi Novel Silam Karya Risa Saraswati ke Dalam Film Silam Sutrada Jose Poernomo

Abstrak Genre film horor merupakan genre yang paling banyak menarik minat penonton. Uniknya genre tersebut banyak mengangkat dari novel. Salah satu novel tersebut adalah novel Silam. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan novel ke film yang meliputi penciutan, penambahan serta perubahan bervariasi pada film novel silam karya Risa Saraswati ke dalam film silam sutrada Jose Poernomo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengkaji ekranisasi pada novel Silam karya Risa Saraswati ke dalam film Silam sutrada Jose Poernomo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskripsi kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua aspek unsur sastra, yaitu alur, tokoh, dan latar mengalami penciutan, penambahan, dan perubahan bervariasi. Namun hal tersebut tidak mengubah konsep cerita novel secara keseluruhan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbadaan yang signifikan antara novel dengan film. Kata kunci: Ekranisasi; Novel; Film; Genre Horor   Abstract The horror film genre is the genre that attracts the most attention from the audience. Uniquely, this genre lifts a lot from the novel. One such novel is the Silam novel. The aim of this research is to find out the changes from novel to film which include shrinking, adding and varying changes from Risa Saraswati's past novel into Jose Poernomo's past film. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to examine the ecranization of Risa Saraswati's Silam novel into the Silam film directed by Jose Poernomo. The method used in this study is a qualitative description method with content analysis techniques. The results of the research show that all aspects of literary elements, namely plot, characters, and setting experience reduction, addition, and varied changes. But this does not change the concept of the novel as a whole. It can be concluded that there is no significant difference between the novel and the film.
