Książki jego i zbiory naukowe, o ile je odzyskał po wojnie i nowo zebrał, przesłano według jego ostatniej woli Katolickiemu Uniwersytetowi w Lublinie.Życzenie ks. Majkowskiego, by ogłosić drukiem jego życioryswłasny i spis prac, spełnia obecnie Redakcja „Naszej Przeszłości”.
