Scoping Review: Efektivitas Realitas Virtual Sebagai Alternatif Terapi Keseimbangan Postur Tubuh Pada Pasien Vertigo Perifer

Abstract. Virtual reality is a computer-based technology that creates a three-dimensional environment. This technology can improve body balance and improve proprioceptive, visual and somatosensory information input through habituation and vestibular compensation so that it can improve posture in patients with peripheral vertigo. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of virtual reality technology on the posture balance of peripheral vertigo patients. This research was conducted using the scoping review method, analyzing scientific articles published on eight databases: Pubmed, Scopus, SpringerLink, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, Embase, Ebsco, Cochrane Library. The total number of articles obtained was 536 journals and articles that matched the inclusion and exclusion criteria were 210, articles that matched PICOS (population, intervention/exposure, comparison, outcome and study) totaled 10 articles and articles that met the eligibility criteria totaled four articles. This study showed that changes in the level of balance in the posture of peripheral vertigo patients after being given virtual reality therapy were tested using several methods, namely through detection of changes in the trajectory of the center of pressure and swaying gravity, gait, and walking speed. Virtual reality technology can effectively improve the effectiveness of peripheral vertigo patient's posture balance to a better degree.
Abstrak. Realitas virtual merupakan teknologi berbasis komputer yang menciptakan lingkungan tiga dimensi. Teknologi ini dapat meningkatkan keseimbangan tubuh dan memperbaiki input informasi propioseptif, visual serta somatosensori melalui pembiasaan dan kompensasi vestibular sehingga dapat memperbaiki postur tubuh pada pasien vertigo perifer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas teknologi realitas virtual terhadap keseimbangan postur tubuh pasien vertigo perifer. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan metode scoping review, menganalisis artikel-artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan pada delapan database yaitu Pubmed, Scopus, Springer Link, Science Direct, ProQuest, Embase, Ebsco, Cochrane Library. Total Artikel yang didapatkan berjumlah 536 jurnal dan artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi berjumlah 210, dan artikel yang sesuai dengan PICOS (population, intervention/exposure, comparison, outcome dan study) berjumlah 10 artikel serta artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria kelayakan berjumlah empat artikel. Penelitian ini menunjukan adanya perubahan tingkat keseimbangan postur tubuh pasien vertigo perifer setelah diberikan terapi realitas virtual diuji menggunakan beberapa cara yaitu melalui deteksi perubahan lintasan dari pusat tekanan dan gravitasi bergoyang, gaya berjalan, dan kecepatan berjalan. Teknologi realitas virtual efektif dapat meningkatkan efektivitas keseimbangan postur tubuh pasien vertigo perifer dengan tingkat yang lebih baik.
