Christina Kruse: Plasterheads

View through Artsy
Now on view at Helwaser Gallery, Christina Kruse's wondrous Lunapark, a playground of inner psyches, captures the world-building enchantment of Alexander Calder's legendary Circus in the collection of the Whitney Museum. Calder's Circus was dreamt into being after the artist moved to Paris in 1926. Kruse's Lunapark was dreamt into being after she relocated to a small and rustic studio in Germany for the summer of 2020.
