Woman coming from the bath (vom Bearbeiter vergebener Titel)

A slightly clothed woman who seems to be coming out of the bathroom. Next to her is a vat for water fetching, decorated with New Year’s ornament. Next to it is a wooden tub, as used by Japanese women for personal care. In the first poem two comparisons are drawn for an ideal beauty: the shape of the eyebrows is said to be as curved as the jaws in Matsubara near Miho, and the forehead and the hairline are meant to resemble the summit of Fuji in shape. The last poem is by Shigenobu himself.
