Tel Hai: Trumpeldor Monument.

A real photo-type divided postcard - an original silver print from a black and white photograph showing the memorial to Joseph Trumpeldor and the rest of Tel Hai's shields in the cemetery near Kfar Giladi. The monument, designed by sculptor Abraham Melnikov, appears to be wrapped in black ribbons - apparently, it was taken near one of the first memorial days noted at the site near its intuction in 1934. This postcard was not used and no date was specified on it. Presumably this postcard was produced in the mid-1930s. On the back of the postcard was the name of the photography shop that produced the postcard and its photograph (Photo Brenner, Haifa) and it was also noted that it was printed in Czechoslovakia. The postcard was donated to the collection by Dr. Avraham Ezra Milgrom in May 1976.
