Batik pattern: Gringsing wayang

The name of this patched pattern is Gringsing wayang. It is a scale pattern with wayang puppets. At the top of the left and right corner is a bird depicted above a flowerpot. Between these two birds there are three wajang-puppets depicted, from left to right: Srikande, Djanaka (Arjuna) and Sembadra. In the lower left corner Djanaka is depicted again. Before him stands, from left to right: Semar, Nala Gareng and Petroek. The border consists of a white snake line and white stars on a blue background.
