EL PINTOR JUAN LUIS ZAMBRANO EN CÓRDOBA: REVISIÓN HISTORIOGRÁFICA

Este trabajo se centra en el estudio de la biografía del pintor del siglo XVII Juan Luis Zambrano. Para tal fin, realizaremos una revisión historiográfica fundamentada en las publicaciones que desde el siglo XVIII hasta nuestros días han hecho mención a la figura de este pintor. Obviando la trayectoria artística del pintor ya que el estudio detallado del mismo será realizado en investigaciones posteriores, tratando el aparato crítico correspondiente a la producción artística y atribuciones. Por último, realizaremos una comparación entre lo que ha venido diciendo la historiografía y la información aportada a través de la documentación archivística encontrada en diferentes archivos de Córdoba, para de este modo poder comparar, analizar y contrastar de una manera más específica la información sobre este pintor.
