View through Harvard Museums
A large buck stands in profile and faces to the left. Its symmetrical antlers curve inward above its head. The buck has a wound on its left shoulder, the blood runs down to the middle of its front left leg. Five small vignettes that feature different bovidae, mostly sheep and goats, among flowers and against a gold background are pasted onto the painting.
