In the distance high, jagged mountains. In the central middle distance, two figures and a mule. They are heading to a mountain path, part of which can be seen at top left, above St. Jerome. 'DOMINCVS' printed in black at lower right. Repair to bottom left corner, with replacement paper and continuation of image. 'NCAM' impression in circle at brc. Note written in ink is pasted to backboard and reads 'No 6/A woodcut by Campagnola from Titian's/Drawing No.5.
